Hi! I’m Sugar. I originally created the characters Candy and Elizabeth, along with the stories in their respective comics.

A little about myself: I am 22 years old, I live in the US, I love Nintendo, and I was first inspired to create webcomics by T3LP series from TheBourgyman on DeviantArt.

I created Candy in her current form in 2017, although a precursor to the character dating back to 2014 had a similar design. That character was something random I drew up in high school on my 3DS in the Colors! app. I found it again in 2017 and made a new drawing of her, friends liked it, and I started to draw more stuff with her in it.

Elizabeth came later, as a friend of Candy. She ended up in my first ever comic page. Just a silly single page where she used a magic meat grinder to turn ground beef into a living cow again! Fun fact: this first comic page was also my first commission, where I hired someone else to draw for me. I had hurt my hand at the time and couldn’t draw, but wanted to see my funny idea come to life.

While that particular artist ended up leaving the team due to moral issues with our fan created character Torbeth it did give me a taste, a sneak peak of what I could achieve with hired help. Paying other, frankly more talented people to draw my ideas frees me up to be even more creative, and focus more on the story!

I do still draw on the side, but due to complications with the similarity of my style to the previously mentioned hired artist I do not post my own work here unless it’s something wacky in a very different style. Fun fact #2: this is also why I do not credit an artist on some of the official work! Much of it is a collaboration between myself and the other artist. She has not given me permission to use her name in credits, and it would be dishonest to only credit myself… it’s so messy! But as long as the fans are happy and enjoying the content, I am happy too.

Hi I'm Seasan, I'm from Chile, I am 23 years old, I like to draw and I'm currently in charge of the comic Elizabeth the Compunctious.

I started drawing in 2014, before that I only created stories in my head, that's why I learned to draw, to materialize those stories (Spoiler: I never materialized them). I have been drawing for Sugar since the beginning of February 2018 and it has been a pretty good experience, it has helped me a lot to improve, as well as helping me draw things that I would not normally draw.

Hi! My name is Anthony Garcia, but you can call me THONY. I'm new here, but I'm very happy to be part of the candy universe staff from now on. I really didn't know exactly what to write in this section, but I think I can tell you a couple of things about me, how I got here, what I do, my goals and some of the things I like or motivate.

I am an illustrator and author of comics based in Venezuela, I am not a very popular artist or something, but I am really passionate about this work, my dream since I was little is to become someone who can tell and draw fantastic and exciting stories.

So far I have worked in several small comics on my own, with which I participated and won a couple of contests from my country that they published in in a local fanzine. More recently I have been self-publishing through the tapastic and webtoon platform, my main work, a shonen manga of fantasy and action entitled "THUNDER DESTINY".

I met sugar a couple of months ago, at first she commissioned me to make some illustrations of her characters ... after a few works, she invited me to her discord server to share with her followers some fan-art of the characters of the universe Candy for the FASP event. At the end of the event sugar selected me to draw the candy comic who she is writing, which will begin its publication in early 2020.

There are many things that I like and motivate me to create.

Among my favorites are: video games like, the legend of Zelda, super Mario galaxy, final fantasy, kingdom hearts, gravity rush, league of legends etc. anime and manga series like, Naruto, rave master, fairy tail, berserk, bleach, dragon ball etc. series of movies like Harry potter, the lord of the rings and the hobbit, star wars, marvel movies etc. What motivates me most to create is to see the reaction of people when reading the stories I draw.

That's why I always do my best to try to do a good job, so I hope you like what I do for the candy universe from now on.

I am an artist who loves to create and give life to creations, and I think this is the most fun part of Candy Universe, being able to help bring such a sweet and incredible Universe to life.

I love to draw, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with it, even though I am aware that I am not the best artist, I know that together with Candy Universe I will evolve and grow.

I started to draw because I wanted to create my own stories, and even though I still have no comic produced, I already have several stories in mind, and drawing for Candy Universe that helped me with this incentive to create my own dreams again, I hope that you feel the same way when you read our stories, because for me this is one of the main goals.

Hello, my name is Luca, people online usually know me by the username “MenaceCide” and I’m one of the many artists employed by Sugar to help expand the Candy Universe. I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember. In later years I started focusing on digital drawing, not long after that I stumbled upon Sugar, with whom I’ve been working with and for, on various projects and drawings.

well what can i say about myself? I like to create scripts, cook, stay in the rain, illustrate my characters, read books, play pubg (I'm the guy who takes 10 grenades and throws them all at the enemy, or rides motorbikes hunting bots), independent and unknown bands (like Soul monsters and Good kid), and love strawberry cheesecake milkshake (I'm feeling a bit like a Derek Zoolander after saying the name of a weird drink). I love black humor too.

I've been drawing since I was 14, my first drawing was a character I created with a friend that I never saw again. Probably that was why I started drawing, I thought getting famous would help to find her XD

Honestly, sometimes I think everything I touch breaks: my tablet, computer, cell phone, so I've gotten used to my hands in my pockets. I think I'm kind of unlucky, but I like to be that way.

I have known Sugar for 2 years. She was a little bit weird, wanting to stay in touch even when I broke my tablet and couldn't draw for her (just kidding). But, then I got a new tablet and worked for her again. It broke again, I got another one, and (my pencil of tablet broke a 3rd time (but still work, just the pressure is a little weird, and bought a new pencil today). I said I'm unlucky.

I don't know what to write anymore.
